Mk7.5 Haldex 30k Service I'm looking ahead ot my next scheduled service interval, and it appears the 2019 R has a 30k mile interval on Haldex oil changes. Has anyone been through this and provide a ballpark on what type of cost I should expect?

Have a look at this thread on the Golf R forum. Having the Haldex oil changed does not normally include cleaning the filter and it is the build up on the filter that kills the pump or Haldex. I had my Haldex oil changed and the pump removed to clean the filter at 7k miles by an independant and it was amongst the dirtiest. My Revo Stage 3 had a Haldex pump failure somewhere around 10-12K miles. Driving around in a FWD Golf R with that much power was no fun. The screen gets dirty in 100 miles. It is a poor design IMO. So now I basically do the service every year.

The PP diff works very similar to the way a haldex diff works (they even use the same fluid). Yes, oils degrade over time, but when you have clutch packs putting particulates into an unfiltered oil, it seems like mileage makes a lot more sense than time IMO. Haldex oil should be replaced every 20,000 mi If your VAG Group vehicle has four wheel drive then the drive to the rear wheels is likely through a Haldex coupling (depending on your exact model) and it will require regular oil and filter changes, just like your engine does.

Its also good to change the rear dampener every other Haldex service interval (it's a rubber bushing attached to the driveshaft that dampens vibration going into the rear diff and it wears out every 80-100k).
